There are excellent books about AdWords, in both printed and electronic forms, plus a wealth of software to ease its management. In getting ready for the AdWords program we constantly used four of them and we have learned many and many useful techniques.

Sneaky AdWords products.Some sneaky products allows you to spy on your competitors and “steal” keywords and bids. This looks a bit unfair, but copying from the competitors is considered legal: think of what Microsoft did to Netscape, how it copies from Firefox (one example: tabbed browsing), how it includes in its operating systems features
offered by other companies software.
keyCompete allows you to download your competitors keywords ... which could certainly be a good idea, if you think that they are smarter than you are!
